Gorey Shopping Centre

Gorey Shopping Centre is a new commercial development in the town of Gorey. This shopping centre development consists of a large ground floor area of 10,400 square metres dedicated to the main shopping area Anchor tenant together with 18 smaller retail units along the mall The basement level occupying about 40% of the total area under ground floor is designated for car parking with access via a large enclosed ramp.
Car parking facilities are provided also at the front of development The first floor over the anchor tenant is designated for goods storage. The structure is consisted of:
Steel frames working in composite action with concrete suspended floors.
Concrete slabs on grade over the area without basement.
Independent concrete pads and concrete strip foundation under the columns.
Concrete retaining walls around the basement.
The enclosure of the development is constituted from blockwork inner leaf and brickwork mixed with Kingspan cladding at the outer leaf.
At the front facade are installed large glazing panels and sliding doors.
