Zoo Road and Fountain Road

Upgrading of Zoo Road, Fountain Road and Laurel Lawn area of Phoenix Park included refurbishment and paving of area in front of Dublin Zoo, closure of Zoo Road to private cars and creation of one-way traffic system around Laurel Lawn, construction of a new bus parking facility, upgrading of gas lighting along the Zoo Road and upgrading of road drainage system. The Works required the installation of new roads, new granite kerbs, new storm water drainage, new ducting for gas supply to lighting, realigning North Road opposite Garda HQ, construction of new bus turnabout, construction of new footpaths and landscaping of areas, installation of road markings and signage.
